ABOUT THE LIBRARY
The Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic Library was established in February 2001 few months after the establishment of the Polytechnic on the 15th August 2000. The mission of the Polytechnic Library is to support and advance Teaching, Learning and Research by acquiring and facilitating access to scholarly information resources.
Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic (IMAP) Library reflects the complete world of scholarship and information through acquisition, dissemination and preservation of information in all formats. The Library has over Thirty Thousand (30,000+) prints collection of books, references and serial publications and access to millions of subscribed and free base/online information resources.
The Library has undergone significant expansion in terms of its building, staff and information resources. It presently houses information materials in all subject areas relevant to the courses offered by the Polytechnic. There is an e-library section stocked with state of the art facilities, subscribed specialized database and online information resources for learning and research.

The IMAP library embraced modern technology to serve its customers and to provide qualitative information and reference services to its teeming users.

The Library strives to meet the need of the staff and students through subscription to specialise databases of international standards which will enable our users to access information in their lecture halls, hostels and even at home.
